Installation of a GK3 into a Squire Strat:
A customer asked me if I could install a Roland GK3 midi system, internally, into his Squire Strat in the usual 'TeleMods' way. We decided that, as this instrument was going to be used for 'recording' purposes only, there was no need to include all the switching functionality of the GK3, but just the S1/S2 up/down toggle switch. This meant that the guitar's appearance would hardly change. I also fitted an Earvana nut for improved tuning.Here's a few photos:
